Consultation
My design projects start with a consultation. After booking a consultation, you will be sent via email a questionnaire designed to help me understand the scope of work and your preferences. Having this filled out and sent back to me before the consultation, will help you get the most out of your consultation time.
The day before the consult, I will contact you to confirm. Our consultation time will be focused on getting to know you, getting details about your project, taking pictures and measurements needed to start a design plan. We will discuss ideas, and you can ask all the questions. I can offer suggestions for furniture arrangement, paint color and my overall design. Most in-home consultations take 1 hour. If you are interested in booking a design consultation, please either text or email me to get started. Any consultations that require extra time will be billed at my hourly rate.
At the consultation, I will help you find the design service that fits your needs and project. Then a design proposal will be drawn up for your specific project.
Mood Board Design
This service is for people who want to handle the installation process themselves but need help with design choices. The consultation includes a mood board for each space, inspiration photos, furniture layout, product selections, and tips. The presentation can be in-person or via email, and clients have the freedom to decide when and what they want to do.
Full Service Design
This service provides the mood board service as well as being with you throughout the entire process. I can assist with disposing of old items, assembling and installing new items and meeting with contractors for estimates and decisions. Also, I can help select new build finishes, renovation choices as well as mid-term rental furnishings.
Home Styling
A service that offers small accessories (think lamps, accent rugs, small furniture, window treatments, etc) to complete the design process. I will style the room using specially curated items that I believe will finish off your space. You can decide which items you would like to keep. Items that you do not want, I will return. All items will be invoiced at the end of one week.
Personal Shopping
This service sends me out to the stores to curate items for your space. We will discuss in advance your budget and your greatest needs in the room. We can communicate while I am out shopping or you can put your trust in me. Whatever items you do not want to keep for your space, I will return.
Curated Vintage Shop
To Purchase
Love an item that you’d like to buy? Either buy from Shopify, or email me which item you would like, your Venmo, and shipping information or indicate if you’d like local pickup/delivery.
I will send a Venmo request for the item(s) claimed, followed by a second Venmo request once the items have been packaged and shipping has been calculated. Please do not select “goods and services” as this charges me a fee.
Items are in vintage or antique condition with major flaws mentions. All sales final.
About Me
I have been a creative spirit since my early adult years. Although design has always been a big part of my life, I started my career in Risk Management. During this time, I also graduated from the University of Richmond with an Interior Decorating Certification in 2012.
Marni Rosen Designs began in 2020. I had been helping friends and family for years with their decorating needs. I have also purchased multiple homes and went through a short sale renovation, a new home build and a complete house renovation.
I launched my company to offer services for a wide range of lifestyles and budget. I truly believe design does not have to cost a fortune to look high-end. Through home design, I hope to make your space feel more like you.
